Today my trusty Windows XP workhorse died. It was a long time coming. Thankfully I've been backing the host up so nothing was lost. In its place I've purchased a new iMac running OSX Leopard. I also picked up 2 500GB external hard drives. I'm going to be putting ZFS to work. It's something I've been meaning to play with on a Solaris 10 host but unfortunately my A1000 array has been in storage for the past several years. It is good to see other vendors besides Sun embracing this amazing file system.
